She's Here!

2 Minutes Old!

Trying to figure out how to swaddle herself

"Change Me"

Mallory Anna Warnock was born on December 8th at 5:27pm weighing 7lbs 3oz and measureing 21.5 inches long. Mama and baby are doing great and everyone is really happy to be home. Talk about an amazing experience. You get all of the advice and warnings in the world from everyone but no one could describe how surreal the birth experience would be and how fantastic it feels to have a daughter. I think you'll all agree, she's the cutest 4 day old you've ever seen. And now, as I'm tired and want to go back to hanging out with Sara and Mal, I'm done. We'll get more pics on here, (trust me, there will be a ton). Thanks to everyone for your continued support. Stay tuned!

Waiting for baby...

The bassinet from Great-Grandma Bender re-covered with Grandma Julie's wedding dress. Beautiful, sentimental, and ready for Mallory.
Just one fine example of "waiting for baby" while "keeping busy." :)

To put it simply... we are ready. The room is ready. Bags are packed. Sara isn't working anymore. We have as much understanding of what is about to happen as possible. We're trying to keep busy and enjoy every last moment of sleep. Stay tuned...

Thank God For Directions!

Nic, Me and Some Shelves

Mal's Crib

Too Many Blankets!!

So putting together the nursery wasn't nearly as tough as I had anticipated. We took our time, layed out plans.....Who am I kidding, prior to picking up any tool, I made sure that Sara had signed off on the deal and everything went real smooth! Good advice! Seriously though, we had a good time getting Mal's room ready and we now own stock in Babys R Us! That place scares me!

Here's a few pictures of the nursery. Sorry you can't see the whole thing but you get the idea.

T-Minus 3 Weeks!

5 Months

8 1/2 Months (Sara Don't Kill Me!)

Since we are getting this little site up and going, we figured we might as well go ahead and post a little something so that everyone can get an idea of how we've spent the last few months. It is hard to believe that she's almost here but in looking back over the past few months and how busy we've both been, it makes sense that its gone as fast as it has.

We've both been busy at work but it's interesting how your mind transitions to looking at more important things like making sure everything is ready for Mal. So far so good. We both know that a bunch of other stuff is going to come up between now and early December but I guess that's the fun of being new parents.

Stay Tuned!
